The client had a clear idea for a content-heavy website, but needed a build that was fast, manageable and flexible enough for different posts, announcements, ads, contributors and editorial layouts.

The key challenge was avoiding a bloated plugin stack while translating the client’s detailed mock-ups into reliable components.

I built a responsive Gutenberg and Kadence site with custom graphics, small purpose-built functions and ACF-powered fields.

The final website is fast, flexible and easy to manage, even for a non-technical editor.

Editors control homepage content, featured posts, post styling, contributor information and promotional areas without developer help for every update.
